The Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency's (DPAA) mission is to provide the fullest possible accounting for our missing personnel from past conflicts to their families and the nation. Within this mission, they search for missing personnel from World War II (WWII), the Korean War, the Vietnam War, the Cold War, the Gulf Wars, and other recent conflicts. Their research and operational missions include coordination with hundreds of countries and municipalities around the world.

The list below contains service members from the 93rd Bomb Group, after all these years since the war, that have been accounted for from the August 1, 1943 low-level raid on the Ploesti, Romanian oil fields.
