We will start with a Happy Hour on Thursday evening with heavy hors d’oeuvres and socialize in the Memorabilia Room to catch up with old friends and learn about their veteran. 

 

Friday we will spend the day on the town, visiting the USS Midway—a World War II era aircraft carrier—Balboa Park’s Air and Space Museum, and spend the evening in Old Town San Diego enjoying authentic, local Mexican fare at Barra Barra.

Saturday and Sunday will be spent in the hotel learning from our members and local historians about the experiences our veterans would have had with the Liberator.  Saturday night is our solemn Memorial Dinner (business attire is recommended). 

 

The reunion team has worked hard to keep the costs to a minimum, and for Southern California the total cost is not much higher than it was for Ohio last year.  

 

Registration is kicking off on July 30th right here on our website.

We’ve coordinated a group rate at $175 per night during the event (breakfast included).

You can get a reduced rate three days prior and after if you want to make it a longer stay.
 

You may cancel your reservation for no charge before 04:00 PM local hotel time on Sunday November 01, 2026.

However, reunion registration will close on October 15th, 2026 to obtain the group rate.

 

Breakfast is included in the 93rd BGA room rate for those staying at the Island Palms Hotel and Marina.

The hotel does not have a shuttle, but it is about a 5-10 minute Uber or taxi ride from San Diego Airport.
Parking at the hotel will be $15 per vehicle.

Welcome to the online registration process for the 93rd BGA San Diego, CA 2026 Reunion!

Please pick your choice of registration. No processing fees applied.

The reunion registration fee is $452 per person.

No mail-in form is available.
If you have a special circumstance and want to attend a portion of the reunion, have children 12 years old and younger attending, and/or you have more than 10 attendees in your group, please STOP THE REGISTRATION process and email the Reunion Coordinator, Dan Reilly at reunion93bga@proton.me.

Thursday - November 5th

Evening cocktail party at the hotel with heavy hors d’ouvres.

Friday - November 6th

Lunch on your own during our travel events this day.

 

Dinner - Mexican buffet at Barra Barra Saloon (MEAL HAS NO OPTIONS)

  • Includes Mexican Caesar salad, Chicken Fajitas, Cheese Enchilada, Rolled Tacos (chicken), refried beans, Spanish rice, lemon roasted corn & vegetables and churros w/chocolate drizzle.

Saturday - November 7th

Lunch - At the hotel

You will select one option below when registering:​

  • Palm Deli Club (smoked turkey, ham, Swiss, lettuce and tomato on sourdough bread)

  • Albacore Tuna (albacore tuna salad tomato, alfalfa sprouts and cheddar cheese on bread)

  • Vegetarian Hummus Wrap (garlic and dill hummus, spinach, cucumber carrots, tomato and onion on wheat tortilla)

 

Dinner - At the hotel

You will select one option below when registering:

  • Grilled Chicken Monterey (chicken breast ,avocado, pepper jack & spicy tomato confit)

  • Herb Grilled Salmon (salmon with dijon & dill cream sauce)

  • Vegetarian Napoleon (balsamic grilled veggies stacked and capped with portobello mushroom)

Sunday - November 8th

Lunch - Game Day buffet in the hotel (MEAL HAS NO OPTIONS)

Includes: hotdogs, hamburgers, potato salad, coleslaw, baked beans, potato chips, assorted vegetables, sliced cheeses, and cookies (vegetarian options available)

 

Dinner - Bayside buffet in the hotel (MEAL HAS NO OPTIONS)

Includes: lemon oregano chicken, shrimp and veggies and falafel with tzatziki and hummus, greek salad, couscous salad, roasted vegetables, rice pilaf, focaccia bread, candied lemon and honey cheesecake.
