Reunion Event Details
Welcome Dinner
6pm - 9pm Thursday, Oct. 18th
Introductions are made and upcoming events are discussed. From 8pm to 9pm we will be giving a Missing-in-Action-Report on fallen 93rd crew during the war - specifically MIA's in Romania. Our guest speaker will be Christine T. Cohn a historian with the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA).
Educational Session #1
9am - 10:30am Friday, Oct. 19th
Don Morrison, 93rd Historian, will present information about the 93rd during the war. Nose art, B-24 markings and wartime locations like Hardwick airfield and Norwich will be discussed.
Arlington National Cemetery
2pm - 4pm Friday, Oct. 19th
Our cameras will be going "Live" on the road to capture the 93rd visiting their 'Living Memorial Tree' in Arlington National Cemetery. The group will also witness the Changing of the Guard and the Tomb of the Unknowns. A wreath presentation will also occur.
93rd BG Annual Business Meeting
9:30am - 11:30am Saturday, Oct. 20th
The 93rd checks in on all departments and gets an update on where we are from everything from financials to a new destination for the 2020 reunion location (the 2019 location was picked last year). Everyone registered at the reunion is welcome to attend.
93rd BG Annual Memorial Dinner
6:30pm - 7:45pm Saturday, Oct. 20th
A moving and emotional dinner - the Memorial Dinner remembers our fallen heroes from the 93rd. A color guard is present to set the flags and folding flag ceremony is conducted. Highlights also include a veterans only table and speeches from members.
Educational Session #2
10am - 11:30am Sunday, Oct. 21th
Continuing our initiative from last year, attendees will present summaries of their relative’s lives during and after the war.
