JoAnne,

I am delighted to receive the warm and welcoming responses from your group. I will definitely join the group and look forward to getting together at the next reunion. Donald N. Kraeger "Uncle Pat" was my father's uncle and a great man. He was born April 30, 1921 and passed away on November 2, 1993 at 72 years of age. Two pictures are attached for your review. I believe Uncle Pat is the guy in the middle of the front row. The other picture is of a certificate I saw a few weeks ago. If you cannot read it, I can transcribe and email
the details of each mission. I do know a few things Uncle Pat shared with my father. First, I know that Uncle Pat was involved in at least one mission to bomb Hitler. The mission was successful in eliminating Hitler's bunker, but unfortunately Hitler was not in that bunker at the time. Second, Uncle Pat's plane was hit by enemy fire and they
turned toward Great Britain. He and some other survived the emergency landing.

Looking forward to learning more about the 93rd BG!

Hans Kraeger
